Good Afternoon Craig Students and Parents:
Mr. Kane, assistant principal, with a brief reminder about back to school meetings.
In preparation for the 2016-17 school year, Craig High School is offering Back to School Orientation meetings for all 9 th Grade families and families new to the School District of Janesville. The orientation night for Freshman and new students is scheduled for Monday, August 15 th and will begin in the Cafeteria starting at 6:00pm. Students and Families will participate in break-out sessions and be introduced to topics including: the new grading policy, graduation requirements, daily class schedule, parent resources, mandatory online registration, ACT testing, college admissions, and student involvement.
Additionally, there will be an informational meeting held for upperclassmen and parents on Tuesday, August 16 beginning at 6pm in the Cafeteria. The meeting will primarily focus on the new high school grading policy. Other topics of discussion will include graduation requirements, daily class schedule, parent resources, mandatory online registration, ACT testing, college admissions, and student involvement. The meetings are open to all families and students. We look forward to seeing you on those dates.

Dr. Bjoin began her career as an English and Journalism teacher in Cottage Grove, Minnesota. She attended St. Mary's University and received her Master's Degree in Education in 2003, and completed her certification in Education Administration in 2005. She was an Assistant Principal at Craig since the 2005-2006 school year. Dr. Bjoin completed her doctoral work at Edgewood College in 2009 and began serving Craig High School as Principal in July, 2010.
